How to copy a folder structure in Metadrive

Metadrive allows you to copy any of your folders structure (including subfolders and files). To do it, you just need to follow these steps:

1. Select the folder you want to copy the structure from and make right click on it. Then, a menu appears where you can select «copy folder structure» . In the example below, we selected the folder called «new folder» .

2. Once you have clicked on «copy folder structure», the pop-up shown in the image below appears. There, you can type in a prefix and a suffix to be added to the name of the files in the folder you are copying the structure from. You can leave these spaces blank. When you have done this, you just click on «copy». In this example, we added «Project» as prefix and «2» as suffix, so the resulting name for the copied folder structure would be «Project … 2».

3. Then, the window shown in the picture below will appear. There, you can select the folder you want to paste the structure of the folder you have previously created. In the example, we have selected «Metadrive» folder.

4. To conclude, a new pop-up will appear, with a link where you can directly access to the copied structure in that folder.
