What is Metadrive?
Metadrive is a document management app for Google Drive and Shared Drives. It adds custom metadata, advanced search and filters, custom views, datasheet editing and workflows on top of the files you already have.
Do I need to migrate my documents?
No. Every file stored in Google Drive can be opened with Metadrive right away. Your folders, files and permissions stay exactly where they are.
Where is my data stored?
Only in Google Drive. Metadrive does not copy your documents and Evenbytes has no access to them; metadata is saved as properties of your own Drive files.
Is Metadrive free?
Yes, the Free plan covers up to 5 users with custom properties, metadata management and search. Basic and Pro plans add unlimited users, advanced views, workflows and domain-level licensing.
Can I install Metadrive for my whole company?
Yes. A Google Workspace administrator can install Metadrive at domain level so every user in the organisation can use it from Google Drive.
